Omaha, Nebraska Climate Data
Following are the Climate Consultant 3 screen captures for Omaha, Nebraska. I have included all screen shots, using the default values. While using the program and changing the values, you receive some very interesting results. More on that as I study the software. I will add my plan and section this weekend. Cool software!!

David,
Just a note on slides 11 and 12. We are supposed to change those to sky cover instead of the bulb temperature. I am going to go through and try to compare ours prior to us talking so the conference call can be as productive as possible. Talk soon!
Thanks...
Good David,
CLIMATE
Dry summers make natural ventilation/evaporative cooling an option; and also night flushing.
Try the psychrometric chart for separate months – say January and July – easier interpretation.
DAYLIGHTING
N. Costs “additional budget dollars” – not necessarily. If you design architecture with daylighting you might be able to reduce the cooling plant (daylight is cooler than artificial lighting). Ditto other strategies.
Right about productivity. Question: how much is spent per square foot on lighting? On salaries?
YOUR SPACE: is a real challenge. Light shelves a good idea; in your building the grade could be made to act like a shelf by finishing it (paving?) with a highly reflective material.
Other possibility: high tech sunlight collector with a low loss light pipe from the roof (but this would cost valuable floor space.
Perhaps rearrange the space with work stations on the exterior and conference, etc. on the interior. Reconfigure the light well (more parabolic)? Lower light shelves (grabs more light)? What a tough building!
